Set against the stunning backdrop of Burgoyne Bay at the southern end of Salt Spring Island, “Float” explores the journey of self-realization and breaking free from conventional life patterns. Through introspection and vivid metaphors, Balazs reflects on how people often treat life as a rehearsal for something greater, rather than embracing the present as their actual life.

He questions routine, challenges linear thinking, and discovers the freedom of stepping off the well-worn path to truly experience existence. His observations on changing seasons, shifting perspectives, and the contrast between different places add depth to his insights. Ultimately, it's a meditation on choice, presence, and the transformative power of embracing uncertainty.
